American capitalism gone with a whimperTrue, the situation has been well prepared on and off for the past century, especially the past twenty years. The initial testing grounds was conducted upon our Holy Russia and a bloody test it was. But we Russians would not just roll over and give up our freedoms and our souls, no matter how much money Wall Street poured into the fists of the Marxists. Those lessons were taken and used to properly prepare the American populace for the surrender of their freedoms and souls, to the whims of their elites and betters. First, the population was dumbed down through a politicized and substandard education system based on pop culture, rather then the classics. Americans know more about their favorite TV dramas then the drama in DC that directly affects their lives. They care more for their "right" to choke down a McDonalds burger or a Burger King burger than for their constitutional rights. Then they turn around and lecture us about our rights and about our "democracy". Pride blind the foolish. Then their faith in God was destroyed, until their churches, all tens of thousands of different "branches and denominations" were for the most part little more then Sunday circuses and their televangelists and top protestant mega preachers were more then happy to sell out their souls and flocks to be on the "winning" side of one pseudo Marxist politician or another. Their flocks may complain, but when explained that they would be on the "winning" side, their flocks were ever so quick to reject Christ in hopes for earthly power. Even our Holy Orthodox churches are scandalously liberalized in America. The final collapse has come with the election of Barack Obama. His speed in the past three months has been truly impressive. His spending and money printing has been a record setting, not just in America's short history but in the world. If this keeps up for more then another year, and there is no sign that it will not, America at best will resemble the Wiemar Republic and at worst Zimbabwe. These past two weeks have been the most breath taking of all. First came the announcement of a planned redesign of the American Byzantine tax system, by the very thieves who used it to bankroll their thefts, loses and swindles of hundreds of billions of dollars. These make our Russian oligarchs look little more then ordinary street thugs, in comparison. Yes, the Americans have beat our own thieves in the shear volumes. Should we congratulate them? These men, of course, are not an elected panel but made up of appointees picked from the very financial oligarchs and their henchmen who are now gorging themselves on trillions of American dollars, in one bailout after another. They are also usurping the rights, duties and powers of the American congress (parliament). Again, congress has put up little more then a whimper to their masters. Then came Barack Obama's command that GM's (General Motor) president step down from leadership of his company. That is correct, dear reader, in the land of "pure" free markets, the American president now has the power, the self given power, to fire CEOs and we can assume other employees of private companies, at will. Come hither, go dither, the centurion commands his minions. So it should be no surprise, that the American president has followed this up with a "bold" move of declaring that he and another group of unelected, chosen stooges will now redesign the entire automotive industry and will even be the guarantee of automobile policies. I am sure that if given the chance, they would happily try and redesign it for the whole of the world, too. Prime Minister Putin, less then two months ago, warned Obama and UK's Blair, not to follow the path to Marxism, it only leads to disaster. Apparently, even though we suffered 70 years of this Western sponsored horror show, we know nothing, as foolish, drunken Russians, so let our "wise" Anglo-Saxon fools find out the folly of their own pride. Again, the American public has taken this with barely a whimper...but a "freeman" whimper. So, should it be any surprise to discover that the Democratically controlled Congress of America is working on passing a new regulation that would give the American Treasury department the power to set "fair" maximum salaries, evaluate performance and control how private companies give out pay raises and bonuses? Senator Barney Franks, a social pervert basking in his homosexuality (of course, amongst the modern, enlightened American societal norm, as well as that of the general West, homosexuality is not only not a looked down upon life choice, but is often praised as a virtue) and his Marxist enlightenment, has led this effort. He stresses that this only affects companies that receive government monies, but it is retroactive and taken to a logical extreme, this would include any company or industry that has ever received a tax break or incentive. The Russian owners of American companies and industries should look thoughtfully at this and the option of closing their facilities down and fleeing the land of the Red as fast as possible. In other words, divest while there is still value left. The proud American will go down into his slavery with out a fight, beating his chest and proclaiming to the world, how free he really is. The world will only snicker. Stanislav Mishin

Most of what I’ve done has been photos, groups, and this blog. Not much, I admit, but I’ve learned a lot. Still, there’s lots more to learn. As a place, the internet is fascinating. I love the social networking stuff and have often wondered how it is that people are actually earning a living on the internet. I’ve met so many people here and in other social networking communities, it seems like it ought to be fairly easy to earn a buck here and there. Well, to facilitate this goal, I’ve joined The Thirty Day Challenge. My dad turned me onto this website. It’s absolutely free and offers video training on how to set up an internet business and earn your first dollar on the internet. So, if you are at all interested in how these guys start up a business online and finding out what it takes to be successful, then check out The Thirty Day Challenge and sign up. You may have some fun, who knows? I’m about half-way through the preseason vids which are all about getting the tools and setting up your browser to be ready to get out there and get started. I’ve started using Twitter and if you want to follow me, I’m @LezliDee. I have changed my browser to Flock, which is a social networking browser, based on their recommendations. So, this week has been a whole different experience on the net and I can say I’m enjoying each moment of it. ~L May 17 The Future is Today - Cell RegenerationWatch this video. It is fascinating. I had no idea we were so close to this kind of reality. ~L May 16 InspirationAs you know, I haven’t been posting much lately. I’ve had some circumstances that I’ve allowed to prevent me from participating much. The truth is that so much has changed and I was reticent to write about it. A lot of my reluctance has been because people outside of the Spaces community read my blog and I wasn’t really willing to be honest in what I was writing. I wanted to look good and was not willing to have any more fallout in my personal life because of the questions I was trying to answer. In considering this, I’ve cut myself off from some pretty valuable feedback here and disallowed myself from being open to various possibilities merely because I wanted to appear one way. In short, I’ve been playing small and I apologize for that. Still, personally, I’ve been questioning my beliefs. That hasn’t been particularly comfortable for me or for people I’m acquainted with. I’m not sure I’d be comfortable hearing some of your comments when you find out what that actually means. So be it. I guess what I’m trying to say is that I’m on a journey and I want to share that journey with you. I started off wanting to go in a certain direction and have a certain outcome. Part of this was motivated by revenge or one-up-man-ship so what actually happened was quite different than what I intended. My suffering increased and I clearly wasn’t getting on with my life. I was stuck and wasn’t taking responsibility for where I was which kept me stuck and that made it even harder to stop suffering and get unstuck. It is imperative that my life change and I have to stop looking outside myself for answers. In order for my life to change, I have to change and my blog is going to change. I’m still homeschooling. I’m still a Christian. I’m still struggling. All this not about looking good or being a part of maintaining the status quo or being a part of the world. Nor is it about making it, although being rich is still really attractive. And it isn’t about working in my passion even though I don’t know which passion I have that would be the most fun. It is about finding my purpose as God intends; creating a mission statement that is a theme for my life. My journey is about change and transforming into that being which God wants for me so that I walk His path in the way He wants for me and doing it with joy and in peace. So, the other night I had a dream I want to tell you about. I went to sleep exhausted from an harrowing day of dealing with conflicting beliefs within myself and had just handed them over to God to deal with. Sleeping deeply, I was suddenly aware of a Voice. The kind of voice that used to call my name when I was a child only now it just said, “Inspiration!” I felt a big wind wash over me and I took a deep breath and I heard, “God Breathed.” Now I must tell you that I haven’t stopped breathing ever since (chuckle). No really. It is as though each and every breath is my first and fills my lungs and tastes so sweet and feels so cool and refreshing. Where breathing was a struggle from time to time, now is a joy, a pleasure unsurpassed by most anything I’ve experienced up to now. And I have the first part of my God-given purpose, Inspiration. ~L May 13 Contact Your Congressman NOW!
March 01 Long Story ShortSeveral months ago, I woke with the realization that my home was going up for auction the next day. I had been trying to get an extension on my foreclosure from my mortgage company for a couple of weeks without success. I had been hoping that the bank would accept one of the two offers pending on my home, but hadn't heard anything as of yet. So,being true to my inimitable style, I had waited till the last possible moment to realize I needed to get me and the girls out of there. That morning I called a moving company, Two Guys And A Truck, got a storage unit, and called my sister for help. By 9am, we were packing and the movers were loading the truck. By 2:30pm, the truck was full, the house was empty, and our storage unit was being filled. All that was left was cleaning the space. At 3:30pm,Ireceived the call I'd been waiting for - the extension on my foreclosure came through. Here we were all moved out and the bank finally decided to give us an extension. With nothing keeping us, we went to my sister's and have been sleeping on air-mattresses for the last three months. After we left, the bank rejected the two pending offers on our home. The news made a big deal about fannie mae extending 1500 foreclosures so families won't be homeless for the holidays. With my family's help, we've landed in cute little two bedroom rental. We're safe and happy. Be blessed, Lezli January 15 Washington Times Op-ed—U.N. Treaty Might Weaken FamiliesWashington Times Op-ed—U.N. Treaty Might Weaken Families by J. Michael Smith One of the issues American families could face this year is the ramifications from a treaty called the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC). You may ask, “How could a treaty directly affect internal decision-making by American families?” We generally think of treaties as agreements affecting international relations between countries. The U.N., however, has initiated treaties that not only affect international relations, but also the domestic relations of member nations as well. These treaties, sometimes called “conventions,” require member nations that ratify the treaty to implement the requirements as binding law or rules. On Nov. 20, 1989, the U.N. adopted the CRC and submitted it for ratification to the member nations. It has been ratified by 193 nations—the United States is one of the few countries that has not ratified it. The ratification process requires a two-thirds vote by the U.S. Senate. On Feb. 16, 1995, Madeleine Albright, the U.S. ambassador to the U.N., signed the CRC on behalf of the United States. The CRC, however, has never been sent to the Senate for ratification because there is insufficient support to pass it. Due to the recent election, however, there are rumblings from Capitol Hill that there will be an effort to seek ratification of the CRC during the next congressional cycle. Hillary Rodham Clinton is a strong supporter of the treaty, and as secretary of state, would have direct control over the submission of treaties to the Senate. Why should passage of the CRC be of concern? It likely would have a negative impact on domestic law and practice in the United States. Article VI of our Constitution makes treaties—and remember, conventions are viewed as treaties—“the supreme law of the land.” The CRC would be treated as superior to laws in every state regarding the parent-child relationship. This would include issues regarding education, health care, family discipline, the child’s role in family decision-making, and a host of other subjects. Article 43 of the CRC establishes an international committee on the rights of the child to examine compliance by member nations. This committee, which sits in Geneva, has final authority concerning interpretation of the language contained in the CRC. Two central principles of the CRC clearly are contrary to current U.S. laws related to parent-child relationships. The CRC provides that in all matters relating to children, whether private or public, or in courts, the best interests of the child shall be a primary consideration. Additionally, nations should ensure that children are capable of expressing their views freely in all matters affecting them, giving due weight to the age and maturity of the child. This is contrary to traditional American law, which provides that absent proof of harm, courts and social workers simply do not have the authority to intervene in parent-child relationships and decision-making. The importance of this tradition and practice is that the government may not substitute its judgment for that of the parent until there is proof of harm to the child sufficient to justify governmental intervention. It is clear that in two very important areas of the parent-child relationship, religion and education, there will be potential for tremendous conflict. The international committee in Geneva, in reviewing the laws of practice of countries that have ratified the CRC, has expressed its concern that parents could homeschool without the view of the child being considered; that parents could remove their children from sex-education classes without the view of the child being considered; that parents were legally permitted to use corporal punishment; and that children didn’t have access to reproductive health information without parental knowledge. The bottom line is the CRC would drastically weaken the United States’ sovereignty over family life, which would have a substantial impact on every American family. For more information on the U.N.
